"Fraudulent" Text Messages Concerning Your Debit / Credit Card

As of Monday February 3rd, we have been made aware of a spike in fraudulent text messages to customers and non-customers regarding their debit / credit cards.

Uwharrie Bank will never contact you via text message, email or telephone asking you to provide information. Should you receive one of these fraudulent text messages, please do not reply or call the number listed.
