Bob Bratton Joins Cabarrus Bank & Trust Board
Friday, July 25th 2008 - Concord, NC - Pat Horton, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cabarrus Bank & Trust, announced this week that Robert O. Bratton (Bob), a well-known and highly respected former banking executive in this region, joined the company’s Board of Directors recently. His background over the past 30 years includes executive level management over finance and accounting, operations, Technology, Human Resources and various other roles.
Mrs. Horton commented, “We are extremely excited and fortunate to have Bob Bratton join our Board at CB&T. Bob truly supports the mission of this bank and feels the need to have a Community Bank that is focused on meeting the needs of the people of Cabarrus County.”

Bob received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. On joining the Cabarrus Bank & Trust family, Bob commented, “I am pleased to have the opportunity to reconnect with the community and join a great team of individuals at Cabarrus Bank & Trust. As I considered options, I wanted to be part of an organization committed to the local community. I am fortunate to find that philosophy at Cabarrus Bank & Trust.”
His activities in the Cabarrus County community include former Chair and Board member of Cabarrus College of Health Sciences. Currently he is a member of the boards of CMC Northeast Medical Foundation and the Cannon School, where he was a former chair. He is a member of First Presbyterian Church where he Chairs the Foundation and is a board member.
