Uwharrie Bank System Conversion

The Weekend We’re Making Your Banking Experience Even Better

We are excited to announce that Uwharrie Bank will be converting to a new core banking system beginning at 7 pm on Friday, August 10th. The core system is the software that manages our major banking functions including opening and managing accounts, originating and servicing loans, processing cash deposits and withdrawals, maintaining account holder information and much more. The decision to upgrade our core system was made so that we may continue to provide you with safe, secure products and services all while utilizing the newest technology.

While we have worked to minimize the impact to you, there will be times where it will affect some of the services you may use. We will keep you up-to-date on when and what will be affected so that you will be prepared through email, social media and our website.

We hope that the following list of frequently asked questions will help prepare you. If you have any questions, we encourage you to contact us by calling 800.438.6864 or by visiting any of our local branches. Our associates are well prepared and ready to answer any additional questions you may have about our core conversion.

We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause and appreciate your continued loyalty to Uwharrie Bank. We are excited about this conversion and can’t wait to better serve you.
