Uwharrie Bank does not charge for this service but standard carrier messaging fees may apply. Send text messages to us and receive balance updates, recent transaction history or enable transfers into your primary Uwharrie Bank account.

An existing Online Banking account is required for Text Banking to work. The following Text Banking commands will become available to you by texting 454545:

• BAL = Primary account balance
• BAL ALL = All account balances
• BAL CHK = Checking account balances
• BAL SAV = Savings account balances
• LAST = Last five transactions
• TRANS $$$ = Transfer specified fund amount to primary account
• STOP = Deactivate service
• HELP = Help on keywords
